PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material having excellent color developability, little skin fog for heat, satisfactory storage stability of plasticizing resistance and oil resistance. SOLUTION: The thermal recording material comprises a thermal color developing layer provided on a support of paper, plastic sheet or synthetic paper. In this case, the layer contains color developable compound containing one selected from (1) bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)methylacetate, and (2) 1,1,3-tris(2- methyl-4-hydroxy-5-cyclohexylphenyl)butane, 4,4'-butylidene-bis-(3-methyl-6-t- butylphenol) and 3,3',5,5'-tetrabrom-4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone. |
