<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous recording solution good in water resistance, imparting high record concentration, having good discharging ability and high reliability, good in properties of printed letters and weatherability, etc., and useful for ink jet recordings when printed on plain paper by bringing the solution to contain a specific random polymer as a pigment dispersant. SOLUTION: This recording solution is obtained by blending (A) a resin obtained by copolymerizing 10-60 wt.% of (i) a 9-24C alkyl or alkenyl (meth) acrylate with 10-50 wt.% of (ii) a polymerizable unsaturated compound having hydrophilic groups such as maleic acid, its anhydride, etc., (B) an aqueous medium obtained by adding a water soluble organic solvent such as ethylene glycol, etc., to water, and (C) a pigment having <=5μm average particle size in a ratio of 2-8 wt.% of the component C based on the whole solution, 20-80 wt.% of the component A based on the component C and 10-20 wt.% of the component B based on the whole solution and treating to disperse by a sand grind mill, etc.</p> |
