PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric for a fence requiring no paint coating and increasing the safety for the environment and a human body by using the fabric for a fence constituted of a covered thread covered with a thermoplastic resin containing the compound expressed by the general expression and having a specific permeability coefficient. SOLUTION: This fabric for a fence is constituted of a covered thread covered with a thermoplastic resin containing the compound expressed by the general expression, and its permeability coefficient is set within the range of 1.0×10<-4> -1.0 cm/sec, where Y indicates hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkenyl group, or aralkyl group, R indicates hydrogen atom, halogen atom, or alkyl group, R' indicates hydrogen atom, halogen atom, or alkyl group, and R and R' may be bound to form a ring.
