The equipment comprises a motorized compressor 1 which supplies the flow rate and pressure necessary for blasting planar surfaces using shot (sand, abrasive material). The compressed air impelled by this motorized compressor 1 reaches blasting hoppers 2 where the mixture with the shot is produced, this mixture being conveyed to the corresponding blasting heads 4 responsible for carrying out the work for treating the corresponding planar surface, the remaining shot/dust (powder) being aspirated by means of a vacuum pump 9, this mixture passing via a separator hopper 10 and a filter 15, separation of the shot and the dust taking place and also separation of the dust and the air, respectively, there being a fine filter 17 prior to the vacuum pump 9 for preventing the passage of any abrasive particle to the latter. <IMAGE>
