A mirror current circuit (11) drives an electrode (9) driving the base of a transistor (5). The transistor drives a capacitor (7). The transistor emitter is connected to an acoustic output (A). The capacitor determines the frequency of the note produced. Thus by varying the mirror current, a tune can be played.
