A lubricator for a sintered copper-tin-bronze bush 12 comprises a reservoir 21 disposed on the face of the bush 12 remote from its bearing surface 13 and containing an oil carrier comprising 50-70% by weight of finely divided mineral powder and 50-30% by weight of lubricating oil, the powder particles being of a hardness not exceeding 3 on Mohs hardness scale and the carrier having a penetration number of 250-400 (A.S.T.M.) and being of a consistency in the range pasty to doughy. The oil may be a silicone oil or a medium thick paraffin oil. The powder may be talc or calcium carbonate. The bush 12 is supported at one end by a conical seat 15 of a housing 16 and at the other end by a conical sheet metal cap 17. |
