The traditional table soccer or fussball game (commonly known and written as "foosball" in North America) is intended to imitate the sport of football in a d rawer-like structure placed on the ground or floor, with playing figures fixed on horizonta l rods to pass and kick a ball into the goal of the rival operator to score points. In thi s invention, certain mechanisms are designed and employed as a general improvement of the traditional game structure to allow the game to be placed steadily and played on tables with flat surface found on most dining and coffee tables. Four or more suction c ups mounted to the bottom of the game table provide a strong suction and adherence t o the table surface, leaving the game structure virtually unmovable in relation to the table, thus eliminating the need for heavy and bulky structure and legs used on traditi onal table soccer game tables to keep the game steady during sometimes vigorous play. Compact goal assembly is designed to minimize the space for receiving the ball a nd dissipating ball energy through multiple rebound and cushioning. Springs of spec ial design are used as bumpers positioned on the playing rods to prevent game parts from dashing against and damaging the game structure.
