The head has a number of circular mountings (6) spaced around the head. Circular cutting blades (3) are secured to the mountings via central mounting screw fittings (11). Each blade has a number of regularly spaced holes (13) which locate over mounting lugs or which are gripped by securing catches (21), to prevent the blades from rotating during use. The blade can be easily reset in a new orientation as it wears. The circular mounting surfaces can be dished to secure the cutters. The cuttings edges are profiled for optimum milling effect. A simple rotation clamp has an external grip (21) secured by a screw fastener.
