<p>The invention relates to a device used to monitor sensors, mounted in a vehicle, which produce signals that represent different physical quantities. The device comprises first elements with which identically defined comparison quantities can be determined for at least two sensors, on the basis of at least the signals produced by them. In addition, the device comprises a second set of elements, with which a reference quantity is determined on the basis of at least two of the identically defined comparison quantities. This reference quantity is taken into account during monitoring of at least one sensor in a third set of elements. In order to obtain the reference quantity, a quantity is determined for each of the two or more identically defined comparison quantities. This determined quantity describes the distance between the identically defined comparison quantity and the other identically defined comparison quantities of the two or more identically defined comparison quantities. The identically defined comparison quantities are thus evaluated by means of this quantitiy.</p> |
