The bristle parts (15) of a rotating brush (1), each of a semi-cylindrical shape, are attached opposite each other alongside the axial shaft (2) and have slots positioned along their edges (18, 19) which accommodate a joint element (50). The joint element (50) keeps the bristle parts (15) safely in position while being used and can easily be removed for the exchange of individual bristle parts (15).
