The appts. for cutting limp materials has a drive (16) with a roller (17) which rotates with the movement of the bridge (4) along the cutting table (1). A transmission (18) carries the rotation of the roller (17) to the wound roll (14) of covering film (9) so that the winding of the covering film (9) is synchronised with the movement of the bridge (4).
