<p>A vehicle navigator which has a rough map arithmetic processing unit which processes the rough road map arithmetically by using data stored in a map information storage unit which is a storage medium such as a CD-ROM, a distance calculation unit which calculates the distances from an arbitrary point to facilities, a display selection unit which selects the facilities within a predetermined distance from the arbitrary point in accordance with the calculation results and a display control unit which displays the rough map drawn by the rough map arithmetic processing unit and the facility selected by the display selection unit on the rough map displayed on a display unit.</p> |
