Short-circuit rotor for asynchronous machine

The rotor includes a cage which is formed of two halves (2,3), which form short-circuit rings (4,5) at their averted fronts and a connecting point (8) with their sides (6,7) which face each other. The two halves are pulled over a metal rotor armature (9,10) and are fixed to each other at the connecting point. The connecting point is preferably in an area of half the axial length of the short-circuit rotor, and the casing halves are connected through a welding or soldering seam. The metal rotor armature comprises preferably pressure disks (11,12) at the fronts of the short-circuit rotor, and metal terminating sheets (13,14) at the connecting point.
