A two-piece serving bowl having an underlying waste chamber. The object has been to provide such a bowl having an upper bowl part (10) exhibiting ample space for nuts, morellos/cherries, wrapped-up drops etc., without any risk of nothing else but shells, berry/fruit stones, drops paper, etc., landing in the outlet member (12) connecting the upper bowl part (10) and an underlying bowl part (14), the lower portion of the latter forming a hidden waste chamber (18). To this end, the upper bowl part (10) has an outlet member (12), which is an upright member emanating from the bottom (10') of the upper bowl part (10) and being through-goingly open in the vertical direction, and the upper mouth (12') thereof being positioned substantially at the same level as the side wall edge (10''') of the upper bowl part (10). The upper bowl part (10) is removably supportable on the lower bowl part (14). In the position of use, the bottom (10') of the upper bowl part (10) is spaced from the bottom (14') of the lower bowl part (14).
