This is an agricultural machine specifically for baling tobacco. It automates the process of baling the tobacco, doing away with the traditional method of bailing. The basic parts of the press are its body (chassis) which is furnished with two wheels and special handles for easy movement of the press, a 1.5 HP, 10 bar, air compressor, an air piston, a pressure regulator, an on-off-on air control, a metal box as well as the pressure plate. It is also furnished with a sealed 220 V power supply and with an air blower which gives the possibility of multiple applications. The piston, with the aid of the air compressor and the pressure regulator arrangement gives the facility to select the pressure exerted by the piston. The metal box, into which the material to be baled is placed, is constructed so that there is the facility to form various types of bale and the opening part of the metal box gives the facility for easy binding and removal of the bale from the press. Other than tobacco, this particular press can be used for other applications such as for compressing and baling any compressible material and, through the help of the air blower, in all work requiring the provision of compressed air. |
