<p>A gastight makeup material container, in which a volatile makeup material is stored in a refill container detachably received in a container body. The gastight makeup material container comprises the container body (12), which is formed by a bottom wall (12b) and an outer peripheral wall (12a) to be in the form of a receptacle body and in which a storage space (18) is compartmented, an outer lid (16) for opening and closing the storage space in the container body, a refill container (20) including an inner dish (28), in which a makeup material storage portion (28a) is formed, an inner lid (30) for opening and closing the makeup material storage portion, a hinge mechanism (32) projecting outward from the inner dish and pivotally mounting the inner lid to the inner dish and a gastight seal mechanism (38, 40) provided between the inner dish and the inner lid and for gastightly sealing the makeup material storage portion, the refill container being mounted detachably in vertical direction on one side (18a) of the storage space with a space left on the other side (18b) of the storage space, a groove (12d) formed in an outer peripheral wall portion of the container body and adapted to have the hinge mechanism fitted thereinto, a positioning projection (46) projecting slightly from the outer peripheral wall portion of the container body toward the storage space and for positioning the refill container in that position where the refill container is mounted to the storage space, a plurality of first mounting and engaging portions (48) provided on the outer peripheral wall portion of the container body surrounding the refill container, and a plurality of second mounting and engaging portions (50) provided on the inner dish to detachably engage with the first mounting and engaging portions. Accordingly, a storage portion formed on the container body to store the refill container is simplified in construction, a storage capacity of a makeup material is increased without making the makeup material container large-sized, and a space required for operation is reduced while improving an opening operability of a double-structured lid body.</p> |
