The gate saw blade has rows of cutters at both edges of the blade, The row of cutters pointing in the cutting direction is formed from saw teeth which can be reset. The return cutters are in the form of spatial cutters (4) rounded towards the blade edge (5) and running parallel to the saw teeth. These cutters lie in a theoretical plane which is parallel to the plane of the blade and spaced out from it. The spatial cutter may be formed from freely-cut tongues (6) and may be at an obtuse angle or transverse to the blade edge.
