摘要 <p>Rear projection screen having at its front side (34) a number of lens elements (26, 18, 27) that are arranged closely to each other and are vertically extending, wherein the axis of symmetry of every other lens element forms an angle relative to the normal of the screen, and wherein the edges of the widest input side of the lens are adjoined by two lenses (22, 22a), and wherein a further lens is arranged between said lenses (26, 27), said further lens having total-reflecting insides (19, 20) and transmitting tops (28). The screen is characterised in that the axes of symmetry of the lens top (26, 27) form angles phi relative to the normal of the screen, and that the inclination of the sides (35, 36, 37, 38) has such magnitude relative to the normal of the screen that they are total-reflecting to light beams that hit that part of the sides (35, 36, 37, 38) from behind and are total-reflected and emitted through the lens tops (39, 40); and wherein the side portions of the lens (35, 36, 37, 38), at its foot, adjoin two transmitting lenses (22, 22a); and wherein said lenses adjoin a lens (18), the axis of symmetry of which is parallel relative to the normal of the screen surface; and wherein the lateral parts (19, 18) of these lenses are total-reflecting to light coming from behind and emitted through the lens top (28).</p>
