A brake saddle for automotive disc brakes incorporates a recess for a piston activating a brake shoe vertically with respect to the friction plane, and a blind-end bore (9) with a bush (4) guiding the brake shoe (3) parallel to the plane of friction. The blind-end bore may have an inner thread (10) at its base into which the bush is inserted. The head (15) of the screw (14) may be vertically situated in the support jacket (4). The silencing material (11) may be made in the shape of a bowl, whose inside and outside dimensions correspond to those of the support element. |
