<p>When electromagnetically shielded cables (9) are connected to a plug housing (13), the cable shield in the form of a braided metal sheath or metal foil winding should contact the plug housing as uniformly as possible over the cable periphery. The device according to the invention comprises a clamping sleeve (1), whose sheath (34) is provided at one end (3) with at least one axial slot (41, 42, 43, 44), and a holder disc (10) into whose passage opening (11) the clamping sleeve can be inserted such that an intermediate cable shield (91) can be electrically contacted in a resiliently clamping manner. The advantage of this device is in particular the two-part, and hence more economical, configuration of the contacting device, resulting in rapid and simple assembly without the need of tools.</p> |
