PURPOSE:To display and image close to an original image by multigradational display by pseudo representation by the image processing method and image processor for an LCD display by a digital driver. CONSTITUTION:The processor is equipped with an adding means 11 which adds P-bit original image data of pixels of an (N)th frame (N: natural number larger than 2) to error data corresponding to pixels of an (N-1)th frame at the same positions as the pixels of the (N)th frame, an information arithmetic means 12 which regards the high-order L bits in P-bit data which is the result of the adding process as image display data and at least one bit of the remaining low-order bit data as error data of the (N)th frame, a storage means 13 which reads and writes the error data, and an information clearing means 14 which clears error data every certain number of frames. |
