PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bodily sense the highest virtual reality which has been never sensed by a viewer viewing a displayed three-dimensional video by constituting an illumination system of light emitting boards installed at least on two surfaces except the front of a three-dimensional liquid crystal display main body. SOLUTION: The light emitting boards 21 are installed on five surfaces other than the direction of the front surface, that is, an upper surface, a lower surface, a right side surface, a left side surface and a back surface in the illumination system 20. Light emitting bodies 22 nearly as many as the resolution of the respective surfaces are laid inward on the board 21. By varying the intensity of the irradiating light in every light emitting body 22, the light emitting body 22 corresponding to a dot to express a bright point transmits the light in compliance with a requirement from the dot after adjusting the light quantity of its own. Therefore, the intensity of the light is freely partially adjusted inside the three-dimensional liquid crystal display main body 10, so that the real stereoscopic video which can not be compared with the conventional one is reproduced. |
