PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert an action that a person takes into a sound by converting a meaningful part of finger language operation that a deaf-and-dumb person does into a sound. SOLUTION: Respective movement positions of the right and left hands of an operation person in a three-dimensional coordinate system are detected by three-dimensional position detection sensors 11a and 11b. The respective bending angles of the 1st and 2nd joints of the five fingers of the right hand of the operating person are detected by a glove type sensor 12. A CPU 15 calculates the respective movement quantities from the reference points of the right and left hands from the detected movement points of the right and left hands. The CPU 15 calculates the respective bending angles of the right and left arms from the calculated movement quantities. According to the data showing the bending angles of the right and left arms and the bending angles of the 1st and 2nd joints of the five fingers of the right hand, registered words stored in a storage device 17 are retrieved and a sound corresponding to the received registered word is outputted from a speaker 22. |
