PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always maintain a distance from a visual observation object in a proper range when reading a book or the like, and prevent myopia by arranging a measuring means which is supported in a forehead part of a wearer by a support means and measures a distance from a front object, and actuating an informing means when a measuring distance falls wide of a prescribed range. SOLUTION: When a posture correcting tool 1 is used, first of all, a prescribed range is set so that a distance up to a visual observation object (a book) from an eye becomes 30 to 40 cm being a proper value. Next, a support means 2 on which an opening 2a is formed in a horseshoe shape turning to the occipital side and the opening 2a can be elastically deformed in the expanding/contracting direction, is fitted to and installed in a head part H of a user P. A position is adjusted so that a main body 3 is positioned on the forehead, and a switch 6 is turned on after an angle of a main body 3 is adjusted so that a book enters a visual field of a distance measuring port 5 in a condition of visually observing the book. Then, a distance between the book and the posture correcting tool 1 is measured by a distance measuring means, and when a measuring distance falls wide of a prescribed range, an informing means is actuated, and the user P is informed of a sound and vibration or the like. |
