SOLUTION: This device is provided with a battery 105, which is used as a general-purpose power supply for a given device, a battery-detecting means 102a for detecting that the battery has been removed from the given device, and a change-over means 201 for changing over the state of the power consumption of the given device from the first state to the second state, a state of lower power consumption than in the first state. The change-over means 201 changes over to the second sate, if the battery detecting means 102a detects that the battery has been removed. |
