<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction indicator which is light in weight, and easy in operation, stands out of the way, can be simply mounted, can surely indicate the direction, and can provide a preventive measure for accidents and safety as well in a light vehicle such as a bicycle or the like. SOLUTION: A direction indicator housing a direction pointer 1 in a cover 2, is mounted to the handle of a light vehicle at the right and left sides of a bicycle or the like, and let it indicate the direction while it is being manually operated. The direction indicator mounted in front indicates the direction with a lever switch operated at hand through a cable conducting tube (outer cable, inner wire). In addition, bulbs and contacts are so provided that light can thereby be lit when needed at night or the like. The adaption of a flashing type one by the use of a flasher unit or the like, makes the direction indicator light in weight, simple in structure, and thereby easy in operation with its costs reduced.</p> |
