PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket examination machine capable of processing the fare-adjusted non-contact type commutation ticket by permitting exit and erasing fare adjustment data when the fare adjustment data are extracted from the non-contact type commutation ticket. SOLUTION: This automatic ticket examination machine is provided with a communication means for communicating with the non-contact type commutation ticket, a fare adjustment data extraction means for extracting the fare adjustment data from data obtained through he communication means and a ticket examination control means for permitting the exit and erasing the fare adjustment data recorded in the non-contact type commutation ticket when the fare adjustment data are extracted. When a user places the non-contact type commutation ticket on a mounting base, by the communication of a main body and the non-contact type commutation ticket, the contents of the memory of the non-contact type commutation ticket are read and a deficit fare equivalent to an excess ride section is displayed at a guidance display part. When the adjustment of the deficit fare is completed, the data of adjustment completion is written to the memory, the fact that adjustment is completed is displayed, the card is carried away from the placing base, the communication is performed with the automatic ticket examination machine in non-contact state to enable to exit. Also, the adjustment completion data of the card are cleared at the automatic ticket examination machine and the card can be used at the next time. |
