PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory card which can even independently execute a program down-loaded from a connected information equipment, and a video game device which down-loads an application program from a body, fetches game results independently executed on the memory card and can play a following game. SOLUTION: A memory card device 40 is constituted by providing an input mean 43 such as buttons or the like for operating a stored program and a display screen 44 for displaying information in accordance with the abovementioned program in addition to a control device 41 such as a microcomputer or the like having a program memory part 41a for storing a program, a connector 42 for connecting a video game device and the like with an equipment body and a nonvolatile memory 46 for recording data. Data such as a program transferred from the video game device body to the memory card device 40 or games may temporarily be written on the nonvolatile memory 46 by way of the control device 41. |
