PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize the gate drive circuit of a switch element on the inlet side of the excitation current of an SR motor, in such a way as to enable a charge pump system to be applied. SOLUTION: A charge pump circuit is charged by turning on switch elements 3-6 on motor coil excitation current outlet side sequentially, so that the charge pump circuit can be used for gate drive circuits 81 and 82 of switch elements 1 and 2 on motor coil excitation current side in an SR motor 7. Moreover, at the time of operation, the charge pump circuit for the switch elements 1 and 2 is charged, making use of the commutation of the motor coil by the changeover timing of the switch elements 1 and 2 on motor coil excitation current inlet side and the switch elements 3-6 on the excitation current outlet side. |
