<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable tension detecting unit of comparatively simple configuration for detecting the cable tension with high accuracy and with high resolution, and controlling continuously cable feeding speed automatically with high resolution, when applied to the cable drawing unit. SOLUTION: An electrical signal corresponding to the tension applied to a cable C can be output with high resolution being provided with a frame body 1 supported to slide linearly, an elastic body 3 energizing the frame body 1 on one edge side and a spiral shaft 4 rotatable around the center of axis and formed with a spiral groove 4a on the surface of it, inserting a protruding members 5 fixed to the frame body 1 to the spiral groove 4a, converting the displacement of the frame body 1 to the rotation of the spiral shaft 4, and providing with a conversion means 6 generating electrical signals which corresponds to the rotational position of the spiral shaft 4.</p> |
