<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate variable displacement compressor to be assembled without a slip off of a pin during engagement with a drive shaft, in engagement between a swash plate member and a sleeve, reliably and easily execute assembly, and reduce the generation of vibration noise. SOLUTION: A cylinder bore 12 is partitioned and formed in a cylinder block 15 and a piston member 22 is reciprocatively contained in each cylinder bore 12. A housing is joined with the other side of the end faces of the bore 12 of the cylinder block to partition and form a crank chamber 14. A drive shaft 11 is rotatably supported in the crank chamber 14 and a swash plate 17 is engaged with the drive shaft 11 through a sleeve 2 between the drive shaft 11 and the swash plate member 17 such that an angle is variable in an axial direction. In a so formed swash plate type variable displacement compressor, a slide bearing 1 is fixed in the sleeve 2 at the periphery of the drive shaft 11.</p> |
