PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a segmenting range of image data for outputting the desired length between two points in the image data with set real dimensions, to facilitate an editing work after photographing and to output a photograph of regular dimensions in a short time. SOLUTION: An image inputting means 1 outputs image data of the face of a person. An operating means 3 performs an operation input of positional coordinates of two points of the head top and the chin of a person. Memory 2c stores each setting item of the length of a face of an output photograph, upper margin and each of real vertical and horizontal measurements. A CPU 2b performs operation processing which segments the range of image data to obtain an output photograph of the real dimensions where the length between the head top and the chin of the person is a real measurement of the length of a face of the set items of the memory 2c and which meets each of the other setting items and performs a photograph output from an image outputting means 5.
