PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reproduce and output multi-media information recorded in a recording medium in a format which can execute an inexpensive and mass recording and a repeated reproduction. SOLUTION: Audio information is arranged to enable plural blocks to be adjacent to one another and each block is recorded in a recording medium so that it can optically be read in a form of a dot code 36 in which a data dot pattern which consists of plural dots arranged in accordance with data contents regarding the information, a marker for recognizing the block concerned and a block address pattern for indicating an address of the block concerned are arranged in accordance with a specified position relation. This is read by a detection part 44 and restored by a scanning conversion and lens distortion correction part 46, a binarization circuit 48, a demodulation circuit 54, a data sequence adjustment part 56, a de interleave circuit 58, an error correction circuit 60, a decoding circuit 62 and a data interpolation circuit 64 and is output as a sound by a sound output equipment 42 by way of a D/A conversion circuit 66. |
