COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL ELEMENT USING THE SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a surface roughness very small to suppress scattering on a surface of a coloring part by ventilating colored ink surface after an ink accepting layer has been colored by adding coloring ink. SOLUTION: A black matrix 2 is formed on a transparent substrate 1 as necessary. Next, an ink accepting layer 3 is formed on the transparent substrate 1 by using photosensitive resin composition. The photosensitive resin composition has a characteristic to let the ink acceptability appear or disappear by light irradiation or light irradiation and heat treatment. The ink accepting layer 3 is pattern-exposed to form a non-colored part 5 by using a photo-mask 4. An ink jet head 6 adds each coloring ink 7 of R(red), G(green), and B(blue) onto a specified position of unexposed part (area having ink acceptability) of the ink accepting layer 3. Each unexposed part is surrounded by non-colored part 5'. A colored part 8 of the ink accepting layer is ventilated or vacuum- dried.
