PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of residual ink in an ink containing, part significantly by arranging an ink supply part on the bottom of the ink containing part sealed hermetically with a cover having an openable air supply hole and lowering the surface at the bottom part gradually toward the ink supply part. SOLUTION: Under a state where ink is filled up to an initial liquid level L1 and an air supply hole 131 is closed by a stripping paper 140, the ink has no possibility of leaking in the way of transfer. The stripping paper 140 is stripped under that state and an ink cartridge 100 is loaded such that the ink supply part 120 faces the head part of a printer. Consequently, the air supply hole 131 is opened and an ink of same volume as the air supplied therefrom is supplied gravitationally from the ink supply part 120 to the head part. When the ink is consumed to a low liquid level L2 through continuous print operation, the ink is accelerated on the conical inclining face to flow down in the directions shown by arrows and arrives smoothly at the ink supply part 120. |
