<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering effective components in a desalted residue which can be recycled in a waste treatment system by effectively using the desalted residue by the dry treatment of a waste combustion gas of a waste or the like. SOLUTION: A desalted residue 31 discharged from a gas purifier 13 is treated by a desalted residue treating means 30 to recover effective components. After water 38 is added to the desalted residue 31 in a mixing tank 32 to mix them, a chemical is added to the mixture to fix heavy metals, the mixture is dehydrated and filtered by a dehydrator 33 to take out a solid as a non- pollutive cake 34, also filtrate is evaporated to dryness by a dryer 35 to separate it into solid salt compounds 36 and an evaporated water content 37. The salt compounds 36 thus taken out through evaporation to dryness is effectively reused as a snow melting agent, a moisture absorbent or the like. In the past, since the desalted residue is high in hygroscopicity and low in handling property, it was discarded to the outside of the system by solidifying it with cement. In this method, the width of effective use is widen by taking notice of high salt concentration and high hygroscopicity of the desalted residue.</p> |
