PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web cutting device that is simple in structure and less in the number of part items required. SOLUTION: In this web cutting device, a guide plate 12 is attached to a support shaft 11 via a bracket 11a, an air cylinder 13 is installed so as to make it rotatable around the base end center, while an arm 11b is rotatably connected to a block 13b at the tip of a rod 13a of the air cylinder 13 via a connecting shaft 14, and a cutting edge 15 is installed at the side of a lower end of the guide plate 12, installing a stay 16 with a cutter receiver 16a there. At the time of something wrong with it, the air cylinder 13 is extended, and the guide plate 12 is turned round so as to make it move to the side of a side sewing- machine receiving drum 114, whereby the cutting edge 15 cuts a web 100 in conjunction with the cutter receiver 16a of the stay 16, while the guide plate 12 is brought into contact with a guide table 17 as being situated in space between the side sewing-machine drum 113 and the side sewing-machine receiving drum 114, and thus the web 100 is made dischargeable to the outside of a folding machine via the guide table 17. |
