PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a capacitor device in drying time by a method wherein electrodes are arranged on the one side of a current collector so as to make their polarizable electrode layers confront each other, the polarizable electrode layers are rolled up interposing a separator between them into a capacitor element, and the capacitor element is self-heated so as to be dried up. SOLUTION: Electordes are arranged on the one side of a current collector so as to make their polarizable electrode layers confront each other, and the polarizable electrode layers are rolled up or laminated interposing a separator between then into a capacitor element 5, a high-frequency current is applied to a heating coil 2b with a high-frequency heater 2 to induce an induction current in a conductive aluminum foil and polarizable electrode layers which form the capacitor element 5 to self-heat the capacitor element 5, and moisture contained in the capacitor element 5 is exhausted from the capacitor element 5 to make the capacitor element 5 dried out. By this setup, an electric double- layer capacitor can be shortened in drying time and easily controlled in temperature. |
