PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the shadow of the splinter of an elastic sheet member from being printed by sticking the splinter on a translucent plate and an original plate by protecting the elastic sheet member where the photosensitive material of a printer is placed and preventing the elastic sheet member from being damaged. SOLUTION: A protective sheet 19A constituted of a vinyl chloride sheet whose thickness is 0.1-0.2μm excluding a vacuum sucking part 12a is arranged on the outermost surface of a rubber sheet 4A arranged on the metal plate of a printing surface. Unevenness made by grid-like recessed grooves is formed on the surface of the rubber sheet 4A, and press sealing frames 17A and 17B are formed at slightly inside of a peripheral part. A printing plate is placed on the rubber sheet 4A from the top of the protective sheet 19A by opening an opening/closing frame 20A. Then, the original plate is laid over and is set on the printing plate, and the opening/closing frame 20A is closed and is locked, and the original plate and the printing plate are brought into vacuum-contact between the rubber sheet 4A and a glass plate 23A, and ultraviolet rays are radiated from a lower side, so that printing processing is performed.
