PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can simply and firmly fix a thermal insulation material made of foamed styrene of forming a scroll shape in a casing of an indoor machine. SOLUTION: In a method for fixing a thermal insulation material 2 made of foamed styrene for forming a scroll shape on the inside surface 11 of a body case 1 of an indoor machine, mounting pin holes 12 are preliminarily formed in the inside surface 11 in position and after positioning the thermal insulation material 2 in place in the body case 1, the thermal insulation material 2 is pierced by fixing pins 3 and the tips of the fixing pins 3 are fitted into and secured to corresponding pin holes 12. |
