摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the device small and to reduce the cost by eliminating the need for an FIFO that has been essential to a conventional device. SOLUTION: Relating to the device, an input data signal Data- In consisting of unit data of a 6-bit length is re-configured into an original data signal in compliance with the MPEG standard where the signal is configured in the unit of packets each consisting of a data stream of 204-set of unit data in 8-bit length. Data in 8-bit length are extracted from two unit data in 6-bit length latched sequentially in buffers BS1, BS2. The validity of a position of a head word is verified based on whether or not a synchronization code Cd denoting the head word of each packet repetitively appears at a period of each packet. Based on a count counted synchronously with an extract signal Dout, whether or not a period of each packet elapses is discriminated, then an FIFO that has been essential to a conventional device is not required for the device of this invention.
