PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display necessary information with an operation, which is easy for an operator to understand and gives no burden on the operator, by providing a control means displaying at least one of plural pieces of functional information on a display means in response to the rotating operation of a rotation operating means. SOLUTION: A rotary knob 8 in a shape covering a speaker 4 is supported by plural supporting rollers erected at an appliance main body in the state of being freely rotatable to abut a rotation detecting roller successively providing a rotary encoder detecting rotation on the inner wall side of the knob 8. The control means executing information display selected by the user on the display means when it is selected by previously selecting at least one of plural functions provided in advance in response to the rotating operation of the rotary knob is provided. Selectable information includes an accumulated operating time, the speaking time of a speech utilized just before, the display of an alarming sound, volume adjustment at the time of call-incoming and the presence/ absence of confirming sound at the time of key operation.
