PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring core wires into good contact with a terminal to reduce contact resistance by pressing a covered electric wire against a terminal, applying ultrasonic vibration to melt and remove the covered part, arranging a plurality of core wires in parallel on the terminal, pressing the core wires against the terminal to bring the core wires into electrical contact with the terminal. SOLUTION: A terminal 17 and a covered electric wire 18 within a groove 16 are pressed with a horn 24 for ultrasonic vibration, and ultrasonic vibration is applied to arrange core wires of the covered electric wire 18 in parallel on the terminal 17, and in this state, the core wires 25 are pressed against the terminal 17 with a projection 21 of a cover. The contact area is sufficiently ensured without dispersing the core wires 25. As a result, contact resistance is reduced, and a good contact state is obtained. Being pressed with the horn 24, each core wires 25 is deformed in an elliptical shape, the contact area between the core wires 25 and the terminal 17, and between the core wires themselves is increased, contact resistance is reduced, and a good contact state is obtained. |
