PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture in light weight by using wooden material for a main body without using an iron-core choke coil for a stabilizer. SOLUTION: Two chandelier bulbs 2, a capacitor 10, and a switch 9 for changing over two contacts are used in the stabilizer of this fluorescent lamp appliance. The capacitor 10 is connected to one bulb 2 in parallel and the switch 9 for changing over two contacts is connected as seen in a circuit diagram. The capacitor 10 connected to the bulb 2 in parallel is used for lighting a fluorescent lamp 3. For the operating method of this appliance, the switch 9 is connected to A-side of the circuit diagram to light the fluorescent lamp 3, and immediately after it, the switch 9 is connected to B-side. The larger the capacitor 10 connected to the bulb 2 in parallel is, the more easily the fluorescent lamp lights, however, too large capacitor may break the filament of the fluorescent lamp, therefore, the capacitor of approx. 25μF to 30μF is estimated as an optimum one. |
