PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosetting resin molding material excellent in productivity and quality while maintaining such features of a glass fiber-filled thermosetting resin molding material as mechanical strength, dimensional stability and heat resistance, by blending a thermosetting resin with a glass nonwoven fabric serving as the essential constituent of a filler. SOLUTION: This molding material is produced by blending and kneading a thermosetting resin with a glass nonwoven fabric, serving as the essential constituent of a filler, alone or together with glass fiber chopped strands. Generally, a thermosetting resin in an amount of 20-70 wt.% is blended with a filler comprising a glass nonwoven fabric alone or it mixture with glass fiber chopped strands, in an amount of about 20-60 wt.%. It is desirable that the diameter of fibers of the glass nonwoven fabric is 5-15μm from the viewpoint of the balance of its reinforcing effect. The glass nonwoven fabric after kneading is in a monofilament form with the fiber length of 10-500μm.
