<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the CM(commercial) skip with no malfunction even when the BF(black frame) durations differ for every program by always measuring the BF duration between the CM of a program under reproduction and the program main part to record the measured least duration as the threshold and carrying on the CM skip until the BF duration longer than the threshold is detected. SOLUTION: A BF sampling circuit 7 and a silence part sampling circuit 8 sample both BF and silence parts from a reproducing signal PB and output the BF silent parts via an AND circuit 9. A CM-main part BF silent part decision circuit 12 decides the presence or absence of a CM-main part BF silent part based on the information on a BF-BF period measurement circuit 10 and a BF silent part period measurement circuit 11 and stores the shortest BF silent part period in a memory 13. The CM skip actions are carried on until the circuit 11 detects a BF silent part longer than the shortest BF silent part period of the memory 13. Thus, the accurate CM skip is possible even though a cassette is once taken out after the picture recording.</p> |
