<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a golf ball fly straight and longer and not to unnecessarily roll after landing, by equipping a metal layer with a hollow structure and a cover layer to cover the outside periphery of the metal layer on the ball. SOLUTION: This golf ball 11 is formed of a metal shell 12 constituted to be a hollow structure so as to have an almost spherical inner space and an almost spherical outer periphery face and an outside cover layer 13 to directly cover the outside periphery of the metal shell 12. The outside cover layer 13 is structured almost concentric with the metal shell 12. A number of dimples are formed on the outside periphery face of the outside cover layer 13 as is generally known. It is preferable that the metal shell 12 is in an almost spherical shell body form and is made mainly of a comparatively easily available metal material with comparatively large repulsion. The outside cover 13 is almost spherical shell form and is preferable to be constituted of a non-metal, organic, strong and hard elastic material with large repulsion.</p> |
