<p>Disclosed is a method for the preparation of 3,3-diaryl acrylic acid amides of general formula (I), wherein general symbols have their meanings defined in the Claim 1, which is processed in condensation of a compound of the general formula A-CO-B with a compound of formula CH3-CO-Q, in which A, B and Q are as defined in the Claim 1, in a solvent in the presence of an alkali metal hydroxide, characterised in that the solvent is selected from alkanes with 5 - 16 carbons, cycloalkanes with 5 - 16 carbons or mixtures thereof. Said 3,3-diaryl acrylic acid amides are useful for the preparation of fungicidal agents.</p> |
