The invention relates to an arrangement for moving a clamping element forming part of a clamping unit and movably fastened to a railroad sleeper from a position in which the clamping unit fastens the sleeper to a rail, to a releasing position. The clamping element can be moved in a direction away from (and towards) the rail through the medium of a support means belonging to said clamping unit and fixed in relation to said sleeper, and with the aid of a device that co-acts with the clamping element. The arrangement includes a means (51, 51a') which when the clamping element (3a') is moved in one direction functions to ensure that a stop means (20') will prevent the clamping element (3a') from leaving the clamping unit (3'). |
