A method of storing a bicycle cover and a bicycle cover/storage container combination. The first step involves providing a fabric bicycle cover, a container capable of accommodating the bicycle cover, and attachment straps for attaching the container to a frame of a bicycle. The second step involves securing a selected integral swatch of the bicycle cover permanently within the container. The integral swatch of the bicycle cover is selected and positioned within the container such that the bicycle cover is fully deployed to cover the bicycle without detaching the attachment means from the bicycle.
